About

Daily momentum rotation among three leveraged ETFs—big‑tech (TQQQ), defense/aerospace (DFEN), and gold (UGL). It buys the two with the strongest recent gains, splits money evenly, and rebalances each day. Expect very large swings.
NutHow it works
Each day, it ranks three funds by a 0–100 “recent strength” score (RSI over ~40 trading days: higher = stronger recent upswing). The funds are: TQQQ ≈ big‑tech stocks (3×), DFEN ≈ defense/aerospace stocks (3×), UGL ≈ gold (2×). It buys the top two 50/50 and rebalances daily. Moves can be very large.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~3.0 vs SPY ~1.68; Calmar ~10.6. Higher upside from a tech/defense/gold momentum rotation; larger swings but superior risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
