About

A daily, 90%-invested tactical strategy. It checks whether bonds or small‑cap stocks look stronger, then buys one high‑octane ETF from a long or inverse list. It intentionally buys the recent loser (last 4 days) to catch short‑term rebounds.
NutHow it works
Each day it compares recent “heat” (RSI, a 0–100 recent‑strength score) of 7–10yr US Treasuries (IEF) vs small‑cap US stocks (IWM). If bonds look stronger, it picks one aggressive long fund (e.g., 3x tech/S&P, semis, long Treasuries). Otherwise it picks one inverse fund (e.g., short Nasdaq, Treasuries, real estate). It buys the one that fell most over 4 days, betting on a snap‑back. ~90% invested; ~10% cash.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets higher upside than the S&P (~25% annualized vs ~19.5%), by daily regime checks and a mean-reversion pick of a single high‑volatility ETF. Expect larger drawdowns (~38%), so higher risk tolerance is needed.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
