About

Daily rotation into QQQ, a safety basket, or a hedged contrarian sleeve. The hedged sleeve flips net bull/bear using a bond‑vs‑tech strength check and buys recent laggards. Uses leveraged and inverse ETFs; rebalances daily.
NutHow it works
Each day it chooses the best 20‑day performer among: QQQ (big tech), a safety mix (Dow, low‑vol S&P, Treasuries, T‑bills, high‑yield), or a hedged long/short sleeve. If the hedged sleeve wins, 90% goes there. It flips net bull/bear using a quick strength score (RSI: recent up vs down days) comparing bonds (AGG) vs QQQ, then buys recent laggards in lists of bull or bear ETFs (incl. 3× and inverse funds). Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers ~28.4% annualized return with a Sharpe ~1.36 and Calmar ~1.29, beating the S&P 500's ~20.9% return and ~1.17 Sharpe. It uses hedged, diversified sleeves for higher risk-adjusted gains, with managed drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
