About

Daily, rules-driven rotation that toggles between leveraged stock ETFs (often tech/Nasdaq), long Treasuries, or inverse/volatility hedges. It uses simple strength and trend gauges from stocks and bonds to decide when to press risk or protect capital.
NutHow it works
Each day it reads a few simple gauges: stock vs bond strength, recent drops, and whether trends are hot or cold. If risk looks friendly, it buys the 2 strongest funds from an aggressive set (mostly tech-heavy). If not, it shifts to hedges (inverse stock or short‑bond ETFs) or a tactical mix (TQQQ/PSQ/SOXL/SOXS/VXX). It splits money across two similar “engines,” sometimes using mean‑reversion, and rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~31% annualized return vs ~21% for SPY, aided by daily risk-on/risk-off rotations and hedges. Calmar ~0.82 signals strong risk-adjusted upside, but expect larger drawdowns than the S&P in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
