About

A fast, daily‑switching strategy that rides strong stock/tech trends with magnified ETFs (e.g., TQQQ/TECL/SPXL), but flips to hedges (PSQ/SPXS), bonds (TMF), or volatility (VXX) when stress rises. It picks two funds each day and splits the money evenly.
NutHow it works
Daily, it reads four dials: 1) short‑term “heat” (RSI: a 0–100 gauge of overbought/oversold), 2) price vs its recent average (trend), 3) size of recent drops (drawdown), 4) whether bonds or stocks look stronger. If risk looks good, it buys the 2 strongest funds from a small basket of magnified ETFs and splits 50/50. If risk looks bad or panic hits, it shifts to inverse funds or volatility (VXX), or tries short‑term bounces.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 28.1% annualized return vs 21.5% for the S&P, with dynamic hedging and two-position rotation. Captures tech trends while switching to bonds/volatility in stress, aiming for higher upside with disciplined risk control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
