About
Daily: if volatility (VIXM) surges, go 100% into SPXU (3× short S&P 500). Otherwise, hold the two strongest among AAPU (1.5× Apple), MSFU (1.5× Microsoft), NFLX, NVDA, and XOM by 14‑day momentum (RSI). Equal weight. High risk and leverage.
Each day it checks market fear using VIXM (an ETF tied to expected stock‑market volatility). If VIXM’s 40‑day momentum score—RSI, a 0–100 gauge of how strong recent gains have been—is above 69, it bets on a market drop via SPXU (3× inverse S&P 500). Otherwise it buys the 2 strongest of AAPU (1.5× Apple), MSFU (1.5× Microsoft), NFLX (Netflix), NVDA (Nvidia), and XOM (Exxon) by 14‑day RSI, splitting money equally.
Out-of-sample: ~38.6% annualized return vs 23.1% for the S&P, with a volatility-trigger hedge (SPXU) and momentum picks in normal times. Calmar ~0.97; solid risk-adjusted upside, but drawdowns can reach ~40% in stress.
