About

A daily, high‑octane tactical system that flips between leveraged growth ETFs and inverse hedges based on bond‑vs‑small‑cap strength, then buys either the biggest short‑term dip or the strongest trend. Very concentrated and risky.
NutHow it works
Daily it picks 1–2 ETFs. First it checks a macro “speedometer”: are 7–10yr US Treasuries (IEF) stronger than small‑caps (IWM) using RSI (a 0–100 gauge of recent up vs down moves)? If bonds win, it buys growth/biotech; if small‑caps win, it buys inverse hedges. Then it either buys the biggest 4‑day dips from a shortlist or the strongest 45‑day trend. It favors one sleeve with lower 20‑day drawdown and one with higher 10‑day volatility. Equal‑weight; rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Adds diversification via regime-shifting momentum and dip-buy signals. Potential upside in select markets, but out-of-sample returns lag the S&P (6.9% vs 23.2%) and drawdowns are much larger (~60%). Best used as a satellite to core holdings.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
