About

A tactical, trend‑aware strategy that rotates between leveraged tech exposure and defensive/short positions. It uses simple trend/heat signals to chase strength, fade extremes, and protect in selloffs. High risk from leveraged and volatility ETFs.
NutHow it works
Trend first: if the S&P 500 is above its 200‑day average (uptrend), run a bull plan; otherwise a bear plan. Moving average = average price; RSI = 0–100 heat gauge (high=hot, low=cold). Bull: hold leveraged tech/US stock funds (TQQQ/SOXL/TECL/UPRO/UDOW) plus short‑vol (SVXY). If too hot, briefly buy long‑vol (UVXY). Sometimes rotate to one strong defensive asset. Bear: if very cold, try rebound trades; else cut risk or short the Nasdaq (PSQ/SQQQ). In deep/choppy drops, favor safer broad‑market/staples.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~33.7% annualized return vs S&P 500 ~23.3%, driven by tactical leveraged tech bets with hedges; higher upside, but expect deeper drawdowns in downturns (~53%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
