About

A daily, rules-based switcher that uses market trend (200‑day), short‑term “heat” (RSI), and a bonds‑vs‑small‑caps check (IEI vs IWM) to rotate among leveraged tech bulls, broad-market bull, inverse funds, short-term bonds, or volatility.
NutHow it works
Daily rules. Uptrend? (SPY>200‑day avg) If “too hot” (10‑day RSI: TQQQ>79 or SPXL>80) hold UVXY (vol). Else TQQQ if IEI>IWM (bonds>small‑caps by RSI), else EUM (short EM). No uptrend? If oversold, buy TECL or SPXL; else use UVXY RSI and TQQQ 20‑day trend to pick UVXY, TQQQ/EUM, or SQQQ/BSV. RSI=0–100 heat score. Legend:TQQQ=3x Nasdaq;SPXL=3x S&P 500;TECL=3x Tech;SQQQ=3x short Nasdaq;UVXY=vol;IEI=3‑7y Treas.;IWM=small‑caps;EUM=short EM;BSV=short‑term bonds.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~56.5% annualized return, 1.01 Sharpe, 1.14 Calmar vs S&P—much stronger risk-adjusted growth. Note higher drawdowns; daily regime switching targets tech leadership and volatility for disciplined upside capture.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
