About

A trend-based U.S. index approach that dials up to 3x ETFs when short-, medium-, and long-term trends are up, and falls back to standard ETFs when they’re not—across the S&P 500, Nasdaq‑100, Dow 30, and small caps.
NutHow it works
It splits money across four big U.S. stock indexes: S&P 500 (SPY), Nasdaq‑100 (QQQ), Dow 30 (DIA), and small caps (IWM). In each slice, three checks compare short vs longer price averages (about 1wk/1mo, 1mo/3mo, 3mo/6mo). For each check that’s “up,” that third uses a 3x fund (SPXL/TQQQ/UDOW/URTY); otherwise it uses the regular fund. More uptrends = more leverage. No fixed rebalance; small drifts are allowed.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic four-index trend strategy uses 1x–3x leverage on confirmed uptrends. Out-of-sample: 33.93% annualized return vs 22.99% for SPY, capturing more upside across major US indices, but with higher drawdowns in market declines.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
