About

Daily, rules‑based strategy that rides big‑tech momentum with 3x ETFs when trend is up, cools off when overheated, and shifts to hedges/cash or even goes short when trend weakens. Signals: RSI (hot/cold) and 20‑day/200‑day averages.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: is the S&P 500 trending up (price above its 200‑day average)? - If yes: ride the strongest 3x tech funds (TQQQ, SOXL, TECL; sometimes UPRO/UDOW). If the market looks “too hot” by RSI (a simple hot‑cold gauge), park in safety (T‑Bills: BIL/SHV, Treasuries: TLT/TMF, market‑neutral: BTAL, or volatility funds: VIXY/SVXY). - If no: hedge (short Nasdaq: PSQ/SQQQ), hold Treasuries (TLT/IEF/BSV) or the dollar (UUP), or buy sharp dips. Switches using RSI and 20‑day trend.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~50% vs SPY ~20%, Calmar ~1.14—strong reward-to-risk in tech regimes. Regime-switching momentum using 3x tech exposure with hedges aims to outperform the S&P over market cycles.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
