About
Aggressive, tech-heavy, rules-based switchboard. In uptrends it rotates into strong 3x stock funds and a small short-vol slice; when markets overheat it hedges; when trends break it de-risks or shorts. Goal: ride rallies, defend in selloffs. Very high risk.
Rebalances daily. First: is the S&P 500 above its 200-day average? If yes:
- If things look too hot, shift to a crash-hedge mix (VIXY + T-Bills + BTAL).
- Else ride the fastest 3x stock funds (mainly tech/Nasdaq: TQQQ, SOXL, TECL) and keep ~1/3 in SVXY.
If not in an uptrend or momentum breaks:
- Cut risk, buy only deep dips, or park in bonds/cash; if weakness worsens, short via PSQ/SQQQ.
RSI = a hot/cold meter.
High upside with managed risk: out-of-sample annualized return ~52% vs ~20% for the S&P, Calmar ~1.17, and proactive hedges to limit drawdowns. Leveraged tech bets with regime-switching for growth.
