About

Fast, tech‑centric, leveraged trend/momentum strategy. In uptrends it rotates into 3× tech/index ETFs plus a short‑vol slice; in downtrends it hedges or moves to bonds/cash, with extra brakes in crashes. Trades daily. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily checks two dials: - Trend: SPY vs 200‑day (big trend) and 20‑day (short trend). - Heat (RSI): a 0–100 speed gauge; >80 overheated, <30 washed‑out. Offense (uptrend): rotate into the strongest 3× tech/index ETFs (e.g., TQQQ, SOXL, TECL, UPRO) plus some SVXY (benefits from calm). If too hot, shift to VIXY/T‑Bills/BTAL or bond/defensive ETFs. Defense: buy rare oversold bounces; else hedge/step aside with PSQ/SQQQ or cash/bonds. Extra brakes if QQQ breaks its 20‑day or drops hard. Very high risk; rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Aggressive regime-switching tech momentum strategy with ~51.7% annualized out-of-sample returns vs S&P ~20.1%, Calmar ~1.17 and Sharpe ~1.0. Captures big upswings, hedges risk, but can suffer deep drawdowns (~44%) in crashes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
