This strategy is an aggressive market-timer. It mostly watches the Nasdaq (QQQ) and asks 3 things: has it fallen hard lately, is it unusually hot, or unusually beaten down? If tech looks very weak, it often buys TQQQ (a fund that aims to magnify Nasdaq gains). If tech looks too hot, it may buy SQQQ (which rises when the Nasdaq falls). It also makes similar side bets in chips, small caps, healthcare, and banks.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
