About

Daily, rules-based rotation among US stocks, Treasuries, gold, and emerging markets using short-term momentum and trend. Can use leveraged or inverse ETFs and move to T‑Bills when weak. High turnover and risk; aims to own what’s working now.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: are US stocks doing better than bonds (TLT), gold (GLD), or emerging markets (EEM)? If stocks are strong and trending up, it holds the S&P 500 (sometimes a 3x version, UPRO, when deeply oversold). If another area is stronger, it rotates there using long or short 2–3x funds (TMF/TMV, UGL/GLL, EDC/EDZ), or parks in T‑Bills (BIL/SHV/SGOV). Several mini‑models vote; it blends them and rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe 3.22 and Calmar 11.21 with ~62.7% annual return vs SPY ~35.3%, plus beta ~0.5. Daily rotation across stocks, bonds, gold and EM aims to stay in what's working and reduce risk vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
