A daily, rules‑based switcher: ride big tech uptrends with TQQQ (and other 3x bulls), hedge or step aside when readings get “too hot,” and, in choppy/down markets, rotate into shorts, gold, or a managed‑futures ETF.
NutHow it works
1) First check trend: is the S&P 500 (SPY) above its 200‑day average? If yes, be aggressive; if not, be defensive. 2) Aggressive mode: default to TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100). If short‑term is oversold, buy TECL/UPRO; if it’s overheated or after a big up‑day, hedge briefly with UVXY; if choppy, rotate to one managed‑futures ETF (DBMF/CTA/KMLM/WTMF/FMF) with the lowest 15‑day RSI; sometimes use GLD. 3) Defensive mode: usually short the Nasdaq (SQQQ/PSQ) or hold GLD/managed futures until trends improve. Notes: RSI is a 0‑100 “heat” gauge (below ~30 = cold, above ~70‑80 = hot). Moving averages define uptrends/downtrends.
