If the market looks too hot, it shifts to steadier areas like big industrial firms and smaller U.S. companies. If growth looks weak, it uses very short-term market signals to either go defensive—mostly Treasury bills plus a small bet against the market—or make a concentrated bullish bet in a 3x S&P 500 or Nasdaq fund.
