A 7-part strategy that buys assets only when their recent trend is positive, and otherwise shifts that slice into Treasury bonds for defense.

This strategy splits money into 7 equal buckets. Each bucket watches a different market area—big U.S. stocks, tech stocks, small-company stocks, gold, commodities, long-term Treasury bonds, and real estate. If that area is trading above its 84-day average price (roughly the last 4 months), the bucket owns it. If not, that bucket moves into IEF, a safer U.S. Treasury bond fund.
