About

High‑conviction trend follower: when QQQ trends up, it concentrates in the 2 hottest 3x tech/semis/broad‑market funds, but hits the brakes if markets are overheated or jumpy (UVXY, inverse, cash). If trend breaks, it shifts to T‑Bills, gold, and bonds; small gold‑miner side bet.
NutHow it works
Trend gate: if QQQ’s 10‑day avg > 30‑day, go risk‑on; else hold 40% BIL, 30% GLD, 30% TLT. Risk‑on (~95%): own the 2 strongest of TQQQ (3x Nasdaq), SOXL (3x Semis), SPXL (3x S&P). If Semis recently crashed and volatility is high, use SQQQ/SOXS (inverse) or cash. If the market looks “too hot” (RSI—0–100 heat gauge—very high), switch mostly to UVXY (jumps when markets fall) plus some cash and BTAL (neutral). Side (~5%): contrarian in gold miners—long GDXU when very oversold, short GDXD when very hot; else cash. Daily rebalance.
CheckmarkValue prop
Note: no out-of-sample data yet (oos_days=0). This strategy blends trend-following in tech/semis with volatility hedges (UVXY) and defensive cash/bonds, aiming to capture upside while reducing drawdowns versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
