About

Daily, rule-based switcher. In scary markets: mostly T‑Bills and hedges, only buy 3x Nasdaq (TQQQ) on deep dips. In calmer markets: 90% long or short Emerging Markets with 3x ETFs, guided by trend and bond/stock signals.
NutHow it works
Step 1: Is market “fear” hot? (VIXM, a volatility fund). If yes, the plan mostly parks in T‑Bills (BIL) and hedges (VIXY = volatility futures; BTAL = defensive market‑neutral) and only buys a 3x Nasdaq fund (TQQQ) on deep dips when it looks washed‑out (RSI = 0–100 “hot vs cold” meter). It avoids risk if long‑Treasuries are sliding. If fear is low, it puts ~90% into Emerging Markets with 3x ETFs—EDC (up) or EDZ (down)—chosen by long‑term trend (200‑day average) plus a bonds‑vs‑stocks strength check. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~2.02 vs S&P ~1.31, alpha ~0.80, Calmar ~4.21, and ~153% annualized return. A volatility-aware regime switch—cash/hedges in fear, leveraged EM when favorable—delivering higher risk-adjusted upside than the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
