A very aggressive two-part strategy: one half times leveraged Nasdaq bets, the other half flips between bullish and bearish leveraged emerging-markets funds, using volatility, trend, and bond signals to decide when to attack or hide.

This strategy splits money into two halves. One half tries to trade the Nasdaq aggressively using TQQQ, a fund that aims to move about 3x the Nasdaq-100 each day. It buys when tech looks strong or oversold after a drop, but hides in cash-like T-bills or hedges when markets look panicky, overheated, or unstable. The other half bets on emerging markets using a 3x bull fund (EDC) or a 3x bear fund (EDZ), based on whether emerging-market trends and bond signals look favorable or unfavorable.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
