About

Rules-driven, short-term strategy: hedges with UVXY when big stock funds look overheated, buys 3× tech on deep dips, and otherwise flips long/short biotech (LABU/LABD) based on bond‑vs‑stock strength, with a small 5‑day momentum side sleeve.
NutHow it works
RSI = a 0–100 “heat” gauge of recent price moves; >80 very hot, <30 very cold. Tickers: UVXY=volatility hedge; LABU/LABD=3× biotech up/down; TECL/TQQQ=3× tech/Nasdaq; AGG/BND/IEF/TLT=bonds; LLY=Eli Lilly; AVGO=Broadcom. If QQQ or SPY look very hot, it buys UVXY to hedge a pullback. Else if TQQQ looks very cold, it buys TECL for a rebound. Otherwise it checks whether bonds look stronger than stocks; if yes it goes long biotech (LABU), if not it goes short (LABD). A smaller slice rotates into whichever of LLY, AVGO or TLT has the hottest 5‑day trend. Uses a ~10% rebalance band to limit churn.
CheckmarkValue prop
Diversified tactical sleeve combining biotech/tech exposure with a volatility hedge and bond-tilt to capture regime shifts. OOS return ~16.97% vs S&P ~20.58%; Sharpe ~0.55 vs ~1.22. Adds diversification and potential upside in volatile markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
