An aggressive market-timing strategy that rotates among U.S. stock funds, leveraged funds, volatility protection, and a defensive hedge based on trend and recent market heat.
NutHow it works
This strategy splits money across 4 U.S. stock areas: S&P 500, Nasdaq, Dow, and small caps. Each day, it asks: Is that market in a healthy long-term uptrend? If yes, it buys the strongest version of that market—sometimes using extra-aggressive funds. If the market looks too “hot” after a fast run-up, it switches to VIXY, which tends to benefit when fear jumps. If the long-term trend is weak, it either buys a dip for a rebound, hides in BTAL (a more defensive fund), or makes a special bet on beaten-down tech.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
