About

Daily, rules‑based US stock strategy: rides uptrends with regular/2x/3x index funds, hedges with VIXY when markets look overheated, and in downtrends either plays select tech bounces or parks in defensive BTAL. Weights: SPY 35%, QQQ 30%, DIA 20%, IWM 15%.
NutHow it works
Your money is split into four slices: S&P 500 (35%), Nasdaq‑100 (30%), Dow (20%), and small caps (15%). Each day, each slice checks trend. • If its index is in a long uptrend, it usually buys the strongest version (regular, 2x, or 3x). If the market looks overheated (a short‑term “speedometer” is very high across major indexes/sectors), it briefly switches to a volatility hedge (VIXY). • If in a downtrend, it may try a bounce in tech if extremely washed out; otherwise it either takes a mild position on short‑term strength or sits in a defensive, market‑neutral fund (BTAL).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy beats the S&P 500 on risk-adjusted return (Sharpe ~1.47 vs ~1.09; Calmar ~3.41) and upside (83% vs 20%), with regime-based sizing and hedges to cushion downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
