About

Aggressive, RSI‑driven, tech‑heavy strategy that buys dips with 3× ETFs, hedges overbought with VIXY, and otherwise rotates between bull/bear baskets using a bond‑vs‑stock check. Daily rebalanced.
NutHow it works
It uses RSI—a 0–100 “heat gauge” of price speed—on QQQ (Nasdaq‑100) and SPY (S&P 500). If QQQ is very hot, it moves to VIXY (volatility; tends to pop when stocks fall). If very cold, it buys 3× tech/Nasdaq (TQQQ, TECL). If trend is up, it holds QLD (2× QQQ) or QQQ. Otherwise it rotates: compares bond strength (AGG) vs QQQ to pick bull or bear baskets and then selects a few ETFs (tech, small‑caps, real estate—or their inverse) by recent moves. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe 1.26 vs 1.02 and Calmar 2.77, with ~75% OOS annualized return vs SPY ~17.6%. Tech-heavy, RSI-driven rotations with VIXY hedges aim for bigger upside with disciplined risk versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
