About

Daily, equal-weight global sector rotation. Per sector: if in an uptrend, own that sector (sometimes via 2x ETFs); otherwise switch to a defensive ETF (staples, EM bonds, or gold miners). Chooses the option with the lowest short-term RSI. High turnover and leverage risk.
NutHow it works
Each day, it checks 12 global sectors. If a sector’s short-term trend (about 1 month) beats its long-term trend (about 10 months), it buys that sector—choosing between a regular ETF (e.g., IXN for global tech) or a 2x version (e.g., ROM) based on which just fell more (lower 10‑day RSI; low = recently down). If not trending up, it parks that slice in a defensive ETF (KXI staples, EMB EM bonds, or GOAU gold miners), again picking the one with the lower RSI. One pick per sector, equal-weight, rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 2.93 vs 2.03; annualized return 62.9% vs 24.8%; Calmar 7.58; beta ~0.66. Global 12-sector trend-following with selective leverage and mean-reversion; higher upside with managed risk vs SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
