About

Equal-weight global sector strategy that buys short-term dips within long-term uptrends (often via 2× ETFs). If a sector is weak, it rotates to the most oversold of staples (KXI), EM bonds (EMB), or gold miners (GOAU). Daily rebalanced.
NutHow it works
Splits money equally across many global sectors and checks each daily. If a sector’s short-term trend (~1 mo) beats its long-term trend (~10 mo), it buys the “most oversold” choice (lowest 10‑day RSI: a 0–100 score of recent ups vs downs; low means it just fell) between a normal ETF (e.g., IXN) and a 2× version (e.g., ROM). If not, it buys the most oversold of KXI (staples), EMB (EM bonds), or GOAU (gold miners). Leveraged picks magnify daily moves.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers superior risk-adjusted returns vs S&P: Sharpe 2.93 vs 2.03; annualized return ~63% vs ~25%; Calmar ~7.58; beta ~0.66. Higher drawdowns, but far stronger upside in uptrends.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
