About

A daily trend‑following rotation across bonds, gold, and energy. It buys in uptrends (sometimes with leveraged funds), flips to inverse or parks in T‑bill ETFs when trends weaken or overheat, and picks top energy names when conditions favor them.
NutHow it works
Rebalanced daily, split into sleeves. Bonds/Gold: Own long Treasuries (TLT/TMF) and gold (GLD) only when price is above moving averages; else park in T‑bill ETFs (SHV/SHY/BND). If bonds trend down, use short‑bond funds (TMV/TBF). RSI = 0–100 speedometer (<30 weak, >70 hot) to avoid extremes. Energy: Oil, gas, and clean‑energy sleeves buy only in uptrends (XOP/XLE; UCO 2× oil; UNG/BOIL 2× or KOLD −2× gas; ICLN/TAN/FAN); else hold cash‑like Treasuries.
CheckmarkValue prop
Superior risk-adjusted return with lower drawdown. OOS Sharpe 1.71 vs SPY 1.28; max drawdown 3.07% (vs 5.07%); Calmar 4.60. Diversified, trend-following rotation across bonds, gold, and energy that adapts to regimes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
