About

A daily trend‑following rotation across US rates (long/short long‑term Treasuries), gold, and energy (oil, natural gas, clean energy). It rides uptrends, parks in cash‑like bonds when weak, and can short. Uses moving averages, RSI, and some leveraged ETFs.
NutHow it works
Daily‑rebalanced, 3‑sleeve rotation. 1) Rates: flips between TMF (wins if long‑term rates fall) and TMV (wins if they rise). Uses moving averages (trend) and RSI (0–100 heat: high=hot, low=cold). If signals are weak, parks in SHV/SHY/IEF/BND/TLT. 2) Gold: holds GLD only when long/medium‑term trends are up; else cash. 3) Energy: trades oil/nat‑gas with ETFs (XLE/XOP/DBO, UNG/BOIL/KOLD, UCO) and sometimes top stocks (XOM, CVX), going long, short, or cash by trend.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, a daily 3-sleeve rotation in rates, gold, and energy delivers ~29% annual return with ~3.1% max drawdown and Sharpe ~2.91—much better risk-adjusted performance vs. the S&P 500's ~16% return and ~5% drawdown.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
