A fast-moving strategy that rotates between bonds, gold, oil, natural gas, and energy stocks based on trend and “too hot/too cold” signals, often hiding in short-term Treasuries when conditions look poor.
NutHow it works
This strategy splits money between two worlds: 1) bonds/gold and 2) energy. It constantly asks: “Is this area rising, falling, or overheated?” using recent price trends and a heat gauge called RSI, which measures whether something has risen or fallen too fast. If trends look strong, it buys the strongest bond, gold, oil, gas, or energy fund. If things look weak or too hot, it shifts into safer short-term Treasury funds or sometimes bets against the weak area.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
