About
A daily, rules‑based “buy the dip / sell the rip” system. It rides tech with 2x–3x ETFs, hedges with VIX or cash when markets look frothy, and can switch to managed‑futures (KMLM/DBMF) when stocks stall. Extremely high risk; large swings possible.
Each day it checks a 0–100 “hot/cold” gauge (RSI) and a 200‑day trend line on stocks, especially tech.
- If overheated: buy “fear” funds (VIX ETFs) or park in T‑Bills.
- If pulled back but trend is up: buy 2x–3x tech/semis (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL).
- If stocks stall: rotate to managed‑futures (KMLM/DBMF).
- Small rules trade gold, oil, nat‑gas, bonds. Very aggressive.
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 1.85 vs SPY ~1.0, Calmar 6.41, alpha ~0.88, and an astonishing OOS return signal driven by adaptive leverage, trend-following, and VIX hedges. Diversified, higher upside vs S&P—aware of larger drawdowns.
