What is ALTY?
Global X Alternative Income ETF (ALTY) seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Indxx SuperDividend Alternatives Index. The Indxx SuperDividend Alternatives Index seeks to provide exposure to different Alternative asset classes, with an objective of providing a diversified portfolio of assets with a low volatility and high dividend yield. The index seeks exposure to four asset classes: Infrastructure, Institutional Managers, Fixed Income and Global X SuperDividend REIT ETF. The Indxx SuperDividend Alternatives Index tracks the performance of among the highest dividend yielding securities in each category of alternative investments, as defined by the Index Sponsor. The Underlying Index may include exposure to the following classes of alternative investments: MLPs, infrastructure companies, REITs, mortgage REITs, emerging market debt and currency trading, business development companies ( BDCs ), private equity.
