About

Daily, rules‑based swing strategy. When stocks (esp. tech) look overheated, it buys VIX for a quick pullback. When they’re washed out, it buys leveraged tech. Otherwise it parks in T‑Bills or rotates to gold/commodities and managed‑futures (KMLM). Very aggressive.
NutHow it works
Daily it picks the sub‑playbook with the best 5‑day return. RSI = a simple “speedometer” of recent moves (high=hot, low=cold). Hot market: buy VIX funds (fear gauge) for a quick pullback. Cold market: buy leveraged tech/semis for a bounce. Otherwise park in T‑Bills or rotate to gold/commodities, managed‑futures (KMLM), or long/short hedges. Circuit breakers push to T‑Bills after sharp drops/vol spikes.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy seeks higher returns than SPY: ~34% annualized vs ~28%, via a rules-based mix of volatility plays, leveraged tech, and managed futures. Big upside in regime shifts, but drawdowns can be larger—Calmar ~0.78.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
