About

A fast, rules‑based rotator. It fades overbought markets with VIX hedges or safe havens, and buys oversold dips with leveraged tech/semis/S&P. Bond‑vs‑stock and trend checks can shift to Treasuries, gold/commodities, or managed‑futures (KMLM). Very active and high risk.
NutHow it works
Every day it reads a heat meter called RSI (a 0–100 score of how stretched prices are). When big indexes/sectors look very hot (RSI ~80+), it hedges or bets on a volatility jump using VIX funds (VIXY/VXX/UVIX), or hides in T‑Bills. When very cold (RSI ~30 or less), it buys leveraged tech/semis/S&P (TQQQ/SOXL/TECL/UPRO) for rebounds. Bond‑vs‑stock and trend tests can switch it into gold/commodities (GLD/SLV/PDBC), long Treasuries (EDV), or a trend fund like KMLM (managed futures). It picks the best recent playbook (last 5 days).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return: 44.65% vs SPY’s 31.47%, with a Calmar ~1 and dynamic volatility hedges plus multi-asset rotation. A growth-oriented, diversified alternative to the S&P—though with higher drawdown risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
