About

A daily, contrarian swing‑trader centered on emerging‑markets (EDC). It uses a simple 0–100 momentum gauge to fade spikes, buy dips, sometimes switch to volatility (UVXY), or sit in cash (BIL). Highly concentrated and fast‑moving.
NutHow it works
It picks one ETF each day from a small list (EDC/EDZ = emerging‑markets bull/bear; SOXL/TECL = US tech; YINN/KORU/BRZU/INDL = China/Korea/Brazil/India; UVXY = volatility; BIL = cash). It uses RSI, a 0–100 gauge of recent up vs down days. - If a shipping ETF’s 60‑day RSI is strong → hold BIL. - Else, fade EDC extremes: buy UVXY after overheated, buy EDC after washouts or big drops, flip to EDZ after huge pops, or buy the day’s loser in related ETFs. Else BIL.
CheckmarkValue prop
Contrarian EM/tech strategy with UVXY/BIL hedges and single-position discipline. Out-of-sample: drawdown 15.9% vs SPY 18.8%; positive alpha; Calmar ~0.69, Sharpe ~0.56. Lower downside, steadier risk-adjusted return—diversifies the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
