About

A tactical emerging‑markets strategy that flips between 3x long, 3x short, or toned‑down ~1x exposure based on market trend, short‑term “heat,” inflation regime, and bond‑vs‑stock strength. Keeps a T‑Bill cushion and rebalances daily.
NutHow it works
Trades emerging‑market stocks tactically. It checks the S&P 500’s 200‑day trend: strong = allow 3x bets (EDC bull, EDZ bear); weak = use ~1x (EEM or a −1x mix). It then uses a short‑term “heat” gauge on EM, the inflation trend (RINF), and whether bonds beat stocks (IGIB/IEI vs SPY/IWM) to choose bull or bear. Keeps some in T‑Bills (BIL). Rebalances daily. Key funds: EEM EM stocks; EDC 3x EM bull; EDZ 3x EM bear; BIL T‑Bills; IEI/IGIB bonds; SPY S&P 500; IWM small caps; RINF inflation.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample EM tactical strategy offers diversification with SPY beta ~-0.14, Calmar 7.12, and ~123% annualized OOS return—strong risk-adjusted upside versus the S&P 500, with lower correlation and a cash buffer.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
