About
A daily tactical sleeve that mostly flips between 3x bull or 3x bear emerging‑market ETFs (EDC/EDZ), hides in T‑Bills (BIL) when volatility spikes, and occasionally buys EEM on big dips, guided by simple momentum and trend checks.
Daily playbook: 1) If the market’s “fear gauge” (VIXM) is running very hot, park in T‑Bills (BIL). 2) Otherwise, check if emerging markets (EEM) are in an uptrend (above the 200‑day average). 3) Use quick “hot vs cold” checks (RSI) between ETF pairs to pick either a 3x EM bull fund (EDC) or a 3x EM bear fund (EDZ). If EM is extremely washed out, briefly buy EEM.
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return 46.7% vs SPY 17.5%, Sharpe 1.31 vs 0.98, Calmar 1.94 (risk-adjusted). Lower beta (~0.34) with hedges (BIL) and EM-tactical 3x exposure offers stronger upside with controlled risk vs the S&P 500.
