About

A fast, rule‑driven rotation that toggles among T‑Bills/volatility, 3x tech, and bull/bear bets on MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, AAPL, and TSLA. Uses simple “heat” (RSI) checks and a bond‑vs‑inverse‑Nasdaq signal, blends several short lookbacks, and excludes NVDA.
NutHow it works
It runs five mini‑strategies focused on MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, AAPL, and TSLA. Each day it checks simple “heat meters” (RSI: 0–100; >80 very hot, <30 very cold) on broad indexes (QQQ/SPY) and a tech gauge (TQQQ). If the market is very hot, it hides in T‑Bills (or buys volatility). If tech is very cold, it buys a 3x tech ETF (TECL) for a bounce. Otherwise it goes bull or bear on one of the five stocks using a bond‑vs‑inverse‑Nasdaq check (IEF vs PSQ). It builds versions over 14–49 days and equal‑weights the few that are working best now.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy shows far higher upside (≈67% annualized) with solid risk-adjusted metrics (Calmar ≈1.07, Sharpe ≈1.04) vs the S&P, via fast tech/volatility rotations. Caveat: drawdowns can be much larger in stressed markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
