About

Fast, tech‑heavy rotation using leveraged ETFs on MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, AAPL, TSLA. It hedges or moves to T‑bills when markets look overheated, buys tech dips, and flips long/short via a bonds‑vs‑Nasdaq signal. Excludes NVDA. Backtest from Dec‑2022.
NutHow it works
Each day it picks 3 of 6 lookback windows (2–7 weeks) that have worked best. For each, it chooses the weakest/most volatile of five mini‑strategies tied to MSFT/AMZN/GOOGL/AAPL/TSLA. Inside each: if QQQ/SPY look too hot (via RSI—a hot/cold meter) it hedges (UVXY) or parks in T‑bills (BIL); if tech looks washed out, it buys a 3× tech fund (TECL); otherwise it goes long 1.5× or short 1× the featured stock using a simple bonds‑vs‑Nasdaq strength check.
CheckmarkValue prop
High-octane tech-rotation strategy offers ~101% annualized out-of-sample return with Calmar ~1.61, outperforming SPY on risk-adjusted basis. Note the drawdown risk is high (~63% vs ~19%), so it suits high-tolerance investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
