About

A monthly, tactical strategy: 20% tilts to the two strongest US stock index funds; the other 80% flips—into Bitcoin ETFs when the S&P 500 is hot, dividend ETFs when it’s weak, or a short-term momentum mix of bonds and stocks otherwise.
NutHow it works
Monthly rebalance. 20%: split between the two best of SPY=S&P 500, QQQ=NASDAQ-100, DIA=Dow, IWM=small caps (by ~30d trend). 80%: if S&P 500 is strong ~60d (>5%), go to Bitcoin ETFs (BITO, BTF). If weak ~30d (<1%), go to dividend ETFs (VYM, DVY). Otherwise split among the best three of TLT, IEF, BND, AGG, SPY, DIA, QQQ (by ~15d trend).
CheckmarkValue prop
Better risk-adjusted performance than the S&P 500: higher out-of-sample Sharpe (0.98 vs 0.84), lower drawdowns (14.5% vs 18.8%), Calmar ~1.03, and ~15% annualized return—similar upside, with notably less downside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
