About

A monthly, rules‑based mix: 20% in the two strongest major U.S. stock indexes; 80% shifts with SPY’s trend—into bitcoin when very strong, dividends when weak, or the best trio of bonds/stocks otherwise.
NutHow it works
Each month: • 20% goes to the two U.S. stock index funds with the best ~30‑day return (chosen from SPY=S&P 500, QQQ=Nasdaq 100, DIA=Dow, IWM=small‑caps). • 80% depends on SPY’s trend: – If 60‑day gain > ~5%: split between BITO/BTF (bitcoin‑futures). – Else if 30‑day gain < ~1%: split between VYM/DVY (dividend stocks). – Otherwise: split across the top 3 by ~15‑day return from TLT/IEF/BND/AGG (bonds) and SPY/DIA/QQQ (stocks).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy yields lower downside risk (max drawdown 14.55% vs 18.76%) with competitive risk-adjusted returns, even though raw return trails the S&P (11.79% vs 15.28%). The result: steadier, more durable growth than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
