Daily, the strategy scans energy-related assets across four areas: Natural Gas, Clean Energy, Oil, and a separate XLE Momentum module. For each area, it applies simple momentum tests (price trends and moving-average comparisons) to identify the strongest assets. It typically picks the top 2 assets in each area and allocates cash equally among them. If signals weaken, it shifts toward cash or short-duration Treasuries (SHY/SHV). It includes leveraged or inverse instruments (e.g., NRGU, NRGD, OILK, KOLD) to magnify or hedge moves. The result is a momentum-driven, energy-focused allocation with daily rebalancing, blending ETFs and energy names (FCG, UNG, XLE, XOM, CVX, COP, MPC, ENPH, ICLN, TAN, FAN, etc.).
