A safety-first EM trader: hide in short-term Treasuries when market fear jumps. Otherwise follow the dollar—weak USD = levered long EM; strong USD = short EM or long USD—always picking the most beaten-down choice for a short-term rebound.

1) If VIXY (a market‑volatility “fear” fund) has a high RSI (a 0–100 gauge of recent buying vs selling), move to SHY (short‑term Treasuries). 2) Else, check the U.S. dollar trend with UUP (15‑day vs 200‑day average). If the dollar is weakening, buy one leveraged EM fund—EDC (3x EM), KORU (3x Korea), INDL (2x India), or BRZU (2x Brazil)—with the weakest 5‑day action. If the dollar is strengthening, choose the weaker of EDZ (3x EM bear) or USDU (long USD).
