About

Daily, it chases the 2 strongest leveraged ETFs (about 80% of the portfolio) and buys a small slice of the 4 weakest (about 20%) across many bull and bear funds, aiming to ride short-term bursts while keeping a small contrarian/hedge sleeve.
NutHow it works
Each day it looks at a big list of 3x “up” and “down” funds (Nasdaq, S&P 500, small caps, banks, biotech, oil, gold miners, China, etc.). It checks which funds moved the most over the last 1–2 days, puts ~80% into the top 2, and ~20% into the bottom 4. Then it repeats the next day.
CheckmarkValue prop
Not compelling vs the S&P: OOS return -89%, max drawdown ~30%, Calmar -2.9. The S&P beats on risk-adjusted performance. Only a tiny, high-risk satellite for seasoned investors exploring volatility regimes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
