This strategy checks every day whether the stock market—especially tech—is running too hot, falling too hard, or acting normally. If tech looks strong, it often buys aggressive funds tied to the Nasdaq or semiconductors. If markets look overheated, it shifts into volatility funds that can rise when stocks panic. If conditions look dangerous or unclear, it may move into cash-like Treasury funds, bonds, gold, commodities, or a trend-following fund called KMLM.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
