About

Daily, rules‑based tilt toward 3x tech/semis in uptrends, buying panic selloffs across sectors, and shifting to volatility hedges, bonds, gold, or cash when markets are overheated or trending down.
NutHow it works
Step 1: Is the S&P 500 (SPY) above its 200‑day average? If yes, it’s “Bull”; if not, it’s “Bear.” Step 2: Take the market’s temperature with short‑term gauges (RSI and recent drops). Very low = washed out (buy dips). Very high = overheated (hedge/cut risk). Step 3: Pick assets. In Bull, lean into 3x tech/semis (SOXL, TQQQ, TECL, UPRO) unless things look too hot, then use volatility hedges (UVXY/VIXY). In Bear, add cash‑like T‑Bills (BIL), gold (GLD), and Treasuries (TLT/TMF), and sometimes short/vol hedges. Position sizes adjust by recent volatility. Rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 2.19 (SPY 2.11) and Calmar 28.6. Levered tech/semis with adaptive hedges targets outsized returns (≈426% vs ≈35%), while accepting higher drawdown (≈14.9% vs 3.2%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
