About

Cash‑first, crash‑catching, trend‑rotating system. It parks in T‑bills when signals are weak, rotates among stocks, bonds, gold and EM when they lead, and uses hedges or short‑term bounce trades during panics. Very active; uses leveraged/volatility ETFs; high risk.
NutHow it works
Starts in cash-like T‑bills (BIL/BOXX/SHV/VTIP). Adds small slices of diversifiers—gold (GLD), anti‑beta (BTAL), Bitcoin (BITO), momentum (SPMO)—sized by steadiness. It constantly compares stocks vs bonds/gold/EM and owns the current leader; else sits in cash. When stress spikes (UVXY jumps or RSI says stocks are oversold), it hedge‑shorts (SH/PSQ) or buys brief rebounds (SPXL/TQQQ). KMLM (managed‑futures) helps in crises. Sectors: tech/semis, staples, utilities, healthcare.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy offers stronger risk-adjusted performance and lower drawdowns than the S&P: Sharpe 2.10 vs 1.91, Calmar 3.49, max DD 3.11% vs 5.07%. Returns are lower (10.9% vs 22.8%) but smoother and downside-protected.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
