About

A daily tactical strategy focused on gold‑mining stocks using 3x notes: short when miners look overheated, buy when washed‑out; otherwise it uses QQQ vs TLT signals and parks in T‑bills when unclear. Very high risk due to leverage and inverse exposure.
NutHow it works
It trades gold‑miner notes: GDXU (3x long) and GDXD (−3x). If GDXU’s 10‑day “hotness” score (RSI: a 0–100 gauge of how stretched recent moves are) is very high (>79), it flips to GDXD; if very low (<30), it buys GDXU. Otherwise: if QQQ (Nasdaq‑100) shows a bigger 90‑day gain than 70‑day and GDXU’s 70‑day gain is less than its 75‑day gain, it buys GDXU; if QQQ’s 35‑day gain beats TLT’s 95‑day (long Treasuries), it uses GDXD; else it parks in BIL (T‑bills). Rebalanced daily; very volatile.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe 8.29 vs S&P ~5.90, with higher risk-adjusted return and alpha from a tactical, leveraged gold-miner signal system. Daily rebalancing plus cash protection aim for stronger upside with defined risk vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
