About
Daily, it rotates all-in among leveraged gold miners (long or short), silver, or T‑bills. It fades extreme miner moves using RSI; in between, simple recent-return checks using QQQ and TLT pick miners, cash, or silver.
It switches daily among: GDXU (3x long gold miners), GDXD (3x short miners), AGQ (2x silver), or BIL (T‑bills). If GDXU’s 10‑day RSI (0–100 gauge of recent speed) is >79, it shorts miners (GDXD). If RSI <30, it buys miners (GDXU). Otherwise it checks recent % changes: if QQQ’s 90‑day beat its 70‑day and GDXU’s 75‑day beats 70‑day, it buys GDXU; else BIL. If not, weak bonds vs strong tech → GDXD; else AGQ.
Despite weaker out-of-sample risk-adjusted results vs the S&P 500, this strategy offers diversification into precious metals and a potential regime hedge in commodity cycles. A small satellite allocation to SPY can complement core exposure, not replace it.
