About

A tactical, tech‑tilted plan: hedge fast when fear spikes (VXX/SPXS), buy big dips with 3x funds (TQQQ/SPXL/TECL/SOXL), hide in T‑bills (BIL/SGOV) or BOXX when overheated, and use KMLM vs XLK to flip risk‑on/off. Rebalances daily.
NutHow it works
It’s a daily, rule-based “crash catcher + dip buyer.” - Uses VXX (volatility fund) to spot fear. When fear surges, it hedges with VXX or shorts S&P (SPXS). - When Nasdaq is washed out, it buys the dip with 2x/3x tech/S&P funds (TQQQ, SPXL, TECL, SOXL) and some SPY/QQQ/XLK. - RSI = a 0–100 “temperature” of recent moves: high=hot, low=washed out. - If markets look too hot or in a sharp drop, it parks in T‑bills (BIL/SGOV) or BOXX. - It also compares tech (XLK) vs managed‑futures (KMLM): if KMLM is stronger, stay cautious; if tech is stronger, lean into 3x bulls. - If no clear edge, rotate among diversifiers (CTA, long/short, USD, Treasuries).
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic crash-hedge + dip-buying strategy tilting to tech with built-in risk controls. Out-of-sample: ~15% annualized return, Sharpe ~0.60, Calmar ~0.68, beta ~0.94. Aims to outperform the S&P in volatility with transparent risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
