This strategy is an aggressive market-timer. It mostly wants to own turbocharged U.S. stock funds tied to the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and technology. But first it checks a fear gauge called VXX and several stock-market “heat” readings. If markets look panicky or overheated, it moves to safer parking spots like very short-term Treasury funds, or sometimes into volatility/short-market funds. If stocks look heavily sold off, it may buy the dip using leveraged funds. It also compares tech strength to KMLM, a managed-futures fund: if tech is weaker, it becomes more defensive or uses alternative hedge-like funds.
