About

Daily rotation among tech (QQQ/TQQQ), defensive sectors, cash, or a QQQ short based on simple “heat” (RSI) and trend rules. Uses leverage only when transports lead the market. High risk; expects frequent switches.
NutHow it works
Legend: QQQ=big tech, SPY=S&P 500, IYT=transports, BIL=T‑Bills, XLP/XLU=staples/utilities (defensive), UGE/UPW=their 2x versions, TQQQ=3x QQQ, PSQ=−1x QQQ. RSI=a short‑term “heat” score. Daily: If IYT’s 21‑day heat > SPY’s, use 2x/3x; else use normal. If QQQ heat >79: cash (or PSQ when not levered). If <30: buy tech. Else follow SPY: >200‑day → tech; >30 but <200 → defensive; ≤30 → T‑Bills.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~43% annualized return vs SPY ~40%, Calmar ~6.7, Sharpe ~2.72. Leverage only when transports lead; rotate to tech on dips; shift to defensives/cash when trends weaken.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
