This strategy checks the market every day and shifts among tech stocks, defensive stocks, bonds, gold/silver, cash-like Treasuries, and even bets against the market. It uses simple signals: whether prices have risen too fast, fallen too hard, or are above/below their recent average. When markets look overheated, it gets defensive or shorts them; when markets look washed out, it buys for a rebound.
