About

A fast, rules-based swing strategy: buy deep dips in volatile sectors, otherwise ride the uptrend with 3x market ETFs; when things get too hot or turn down, hedge with volatility or bonds/gold. Keeps a small ballast in T‑bills, gold, Treasuries.
NutHow it works
It labels the market by SPY vs its 200‑day average (bull/bear). In bulls it rides 3x equity ETFs (S&P 500/Nasdaq/Tech/Semis: UPRO/TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). If indexes look overheated, it hedges with UVXY (volatility). In bears or on panic spikes it uses UVXY/SQQQ or long Treasuries/gold. A “low catcher” buys sharp dips in volatile sectors (semis, biotech, banks, small caps) when RSI (0–100 heat gauge) is very low. ~20% stays in T‑bills, gold, and long Treasuries. Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample tested, this fast, rules-based swing strategy historically outperforms the S&P 500 on a risk-adjusted basis by riding uptrends with leverage, buying deep dips in volatile sectors, and hedging spikes with UVXY/gold/bonds plus ballast.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
